Jesus is a worldwide figure who has transformed the world and changed the course of history. Throughout the Bible, people always knew when they were in God’s presence. There was something exceptional about Jesus and everyone knew it! He told empowering stories and taught on practical, but powerful spiritual concepts that have caused people to be transformed from a broken past and saved for a wonderful future.

Jesus was always connected to those around him. He always sought to spend time with people who were in process and didn’t have it all together – in a word, he enjoyed working with sinners. He cultivated and built into the lives of twelve people that passionately carried his message to the ends of the earth. A message of hope and redemption! Jesus, the incarnate son of God, came from heaven to earth to demonstrate the love of God to humanity by giving his life, dying on a cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and was gloriously resurrected to life after three days so that we might have the ability to receive eternal life, joy, peace, healing and power from our heavenly Father.

That's why we follow Jesus' life and teachings and why we worship Him. We are Jesus followers and we invite you to follow Jesus with us! If you would like to pray and give your life to God, you might say something like this:

PRAYER TO FOLLOW JESUS

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me so much that you sent your son, Jesus, to die on a cross for my sins. Forgive me for thinking that I could live life on my own without you. I confess my failures and my sins before you. I surrender my life to you, and for your forgiveness, and ask you to come into my life. Please make me into a new person and help me to follow you for the rest of my life. Thank you for loving me. Amen.
