Serving

Since our beginning, more than 36 years ago, Living Hope Community Church has been about God drawing people who are called to use their gifts, talents, and abilities to serve others. The truth is, we were all created by God to make a difference in the life of another person, and we would enjoy you as a vital part of our community. If you want to help use God’s gift to encourage his church and to reach others, we want to do so. We are all about “empowerment” at our church. Whether it is working in the sound booth, the worship team, setting up equipment on Sundays, helping with kids or teens, leading a small group, God has a place for you where your unique abilities, gifts, and passions can touch other’s lives!

We believe that your life will never make sense until you find, develop, and fulfill that purpose. If you're not sure where to go next in your life with God, start serving others and God will begin to lead you. Let us help you if you need some guidance. Please contact pastor Ron at our church and he welcomes the opportunity to fan your flame for service to our Lord. Below are some qualifications for ministry at our church:
Qualifications for Ministry at Living Hope Community Church

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Living Hope. We are building a team of people who are passionate about serving God and loving people. Please prayerfully consider what God might have you do. Please read through the expectations and potential avenues for service. We look forward to the opportunity to serve alongside you.

1 Timothy 3:8-10 states, “Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.” Based upon this, we have set these character qualifications for ministry placement:

Sincere, worthy of respect, and of a good reputation
Demonstrating a genuine desire to serve God and love people
Promoting a positive group dynamic and dealing with conflict resolution
