History
Living Hope Community Church is an evangelical Christian, independent church, seeking to Glorify God with a Great Commission Vision and a Great Commandment Passion.

The church was founded in 1974 by Dr. Gerald Simmons, his wife, Dorothy Joan, and a small core group of people.

Dr. Simmons led the church for 37 years until his retirement.

During the ministry of Dr. Simmons an excellent parcel of land was purchased and a very nice building erected under the trees on the 14-acre lot. The entire facilities are completely free of all debt.

For a period of two years from 2011-13 Dr. John Redman was the interim pastor. During his tenure he made and began many necessary and biblical changes to the church. One such change was the institution of an eldership. He also assisted the church in a pastor search.

On December 1, 2013 Jeremy Draper, a graduate of The Master's Seminary became the pastor of Living Hope. In becoming the pastor, Jeremy picked up the revitalizing process that Dr. Redman had begun.

Now as a local body of true believers in Jesus Christ, we seek to engage our culture with humility, Christian love, and intellectual honesty as we study God’s Word. We are people who encourage one another to be all that God has called us to be, and challenge everyone to share God’s transforming work in their lives with others.

It is our desire and joy to share the Good News to see people reconciled with God and subsequently see their lives transformed as we seek to fulfill the Great Commandment of loving God and loving others, while doing our part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

It is our desire, joy and to share the Good News of Jesus’ message of redemption, salvation, and spiritual growth with everyone who will hear.

In loving fellowship together, we seek to be continually transformed as a unified body, growing, healing, and thriving in joy and with a future filled with hope!
